A Sound Investment at Woodleigh Green

Houses in a new Scruton development at Sutton are set to become a sound investment in more ways than one!

For the 70 three and four bedroom detached and semi-detached houses at the Woodleigh Green development off Tweendykes Road will be breaking new ground when it comes to experiencing the best in audio visual entertainment.

They will have the most advanced sound system for any housing development in Hull and they will also be the first to provide a special Sky package as standard – a Sky home cinema surround sound system with six speakers pre-cabled behind the walls so that no unsightly wires are on view.

Sky executives flew up from London to visit a Scruton showhome in the area before agreeing a deal with Scruton’s audio visual specialists, Debbie and Mel Parkinson of Digital Connections UK Limited.

Debbie said: “Scrutons are the first housebuilder to take advantage of this new package which we have specially negotiated with Sky. Combined with the high level of audio equipment which was already being installed, it will offer purchasers standards which are second to none.”

Construction work is now underway on the Woodleigh Green development and the first houses are due to be completed in July. As well as having the Sky home cinema package, residents will also be able to take advantage of an audio system which offers the following:

each room has its own amplified in-ceiling speaker providing local input for you to access your own personal music library from your iPod, MP3 player, or computer hard drive. Or you can have hi-fi sound from your bedroom television.
using this system, each member of the family can have their own separate music, independently sourced.
you can be in the master bedroom while controlling Sky, your DVD or video in the lounge.

As part of the Scrutons package, Mel Parkinson will set up all your audio visual equipment and all houses come as standard with a wideband digital TV aerial, an FM aerial for stereo and a DAB aerial for digital radio. Scrutons also supply a digital loft box which removes the need for a mass of cables coming into the back of your television.

Scruton Managing Director Ian Scruton said: “After completing our Rockford Green development off Leads Road we are delighted to be coming back to the city with this new project at Woodleigh Green. It gives us a further opportunity to become involved in the renaissance of Hull through offering an excellent range of family accommodation in a popular area.”
